Rootstock Youth Music Celebration Returns to the Bernie Milton Pavilion stage on May 22nd!

It is with much excitement that the Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance and New Roots Charter School and will be co-producing the return of Rootstock 2022 on May 22nd from 11-8pm at the Bernie Milton Pavilion.

Rootstock is a one-day celebration of youth musicians and performers from around the Finger Lakes region with 13 acts ranging from solo artists, teen bands, music producers, dance troupes, CUMEP, and more performing on stage.

Rootstock 2022 will once again host the Youth Entrepreneurship Market (YEM) and will feature youth vendors who have participated in a series of entrepreneurship workshops with mentorship from local entrepreneurs to help guide the launch of their new businesses into our community. Products for sale will include art, crafts, food, jewelry, and more.

After a very successful first Rootstock in 2019, our efforts were thwarted in 2020 and 2021 by the pandemic but we are thrilled to be emerging from this difficult period with a return to live music and celebration of youth creativity.
