Class of 2025

After graduating from New Roots in 2025, Sadie is majoring in New Media at TC3. Sadie is interested in pursuing a career in film making and storytelling. She says, “I have been very certain since I was quite young that I wanted to have a career in something creative and collaborative.”

In addition to her studies, Sadie has an on campus part-time job as a Student Ambassador (a.k.a. tour guide). Sadie really enjoys making connections with the prospective students and their families and students. She loves her job because, “It feels very natural to me being so extroverted. Getting to chat and help people is something I love to be able to do.”

Sadie credits New Roots for helping her “get a step ahead on my life after graduation through taking college credit courses while I was still in high school.” Since half of her required classes at TC3 were fulfilled by the credits she gained through the dual-enrollment program at New Roots, Sadie will be able to finish up her associate’s degree next December instead of in May. With this added flexibility, she is excited to apply for an internship at an indie animation studio or a filmmaking company/program.
