Executive Projects Director

In her role at New Roots, Seren works on many of the behind-the-scenes administrative and organizational tasks that help keep the school running smoothly, which she hopes will give our students, families, and staff the best experience possible.

After graduating from Ithaca College, Seren worked at a science museum here in town, and then moved to the Boston area and spent some years working in higher ed and enjoying city life. When she returned to Ithaca, Seren was drawn to New Roots because of its sustainability focus and spirit of inclusivity, and for the opportunity to work on a small but mighty team. In her free time, Seren likes to spend time outside, cook and bake, swim, read, and sing in a community chorus.
