Teacher Aide/Support

Bethany loves helping students learn and seeing them succeed. She invests time in encouraging the youth to reach their goals. She has taught fun paint party classes and worked with many ages over the years. Bethany has a passion for art and helping others find creativity in their learning. She got her associates in Arts at TC3, and Bachelor of Science at SUNY Empire School in Saratoga Springs, NY. She lives in the Ithaca area with her three teens and dog. Her oldest graduated from New Roots last year, and the whole family is enjoying their time at the school.

Bethany loves the way New Roots works with the students and works with how the student learns. She greatly appreciates how supportive New Roots’ teachers are, and the small classroom sizes. Some of her favorite summer activities include waterfall hikes, kayaking, and lake adventures. Bethany also enjoys painting, dancing, playing games and exploring new places to walk with her pup.
