I’ve been a part of New Roots since the day we opened our doors. I started as the 10th grade English teacher and now am the Assistant Principal (with not enough time for all those books I love). The reasons I joined are the reasons I stay; amazing students and staff who have created an innovative, reflective and inspiring learning community. My work keeps me on my toes which keeps me interested and challenged each day. My hope is that students come to New Roots and are challenged and that they leave knowing that education gives one power, that healthy relationships are essential, and that the world is graced by their presence.
Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? – Mary Oliver
