Lower School History Teacher
I am originally from Crown Point, N.Y. in the Adirondacks. I moved to Ithaca in the summer of 2011 with my wife and fell in love with the area. I graduated from Plattsburgh State University in upstate NY with an M.S. in Teaching and a B.A. in History. In the past, I have taught in both public and private school settings. I love teaching young people about history and helping them discover their own interpretations of the past by exploring multiple perspectives and sources. In my free time, I enjoy boxing, reading, hiking, and hanging out with my friends and family. I am excited to be a new member of the New Roots team.
