Jessica is a Social Work Intern from the University of Buffalo. Prior to her work with us she spent thirteen years at Family and Children’s Service of Ithaca, most recently running programs for runaway and homeless youth and therapeutic mentoring for families. She believes in the power of human connection as the basis of all of our other work and learning.
Jessica’s spark for New Roots began when her own daughter attended and graduated from New Roots in 2015. She continues to be inspired by the creative work and dedication of the teachers, and is grateful to be a part of such a dynamic learning environment.
