Math Teacher

Chris teaches high school mathematics and serves as the math department chair.  Along with teaching math courses, he aims to ensure students are scheduled for appropriate math courses that meet student needs. 

Chris is a lifelong resident of the southern tier of NY and has been teaching math for 20 years, the last 7 of which have been with New Roots Charter School.  Chris also enjoys sports of all types and has led the team sports PE class at New Roots for several years.   

What Chris enjoys most about New Roots is the small school environment where each student and staff member feels greatly connected to the school community.
