Lift Every Voice: We are the Village! Saturday, October 14, 2017 6:00 - 8:00 pm St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Tear Down the Walls was the theme of the first Lift Every Voice concert, a collaboration between St. Paul’s and Calvary Baptist Church, about fifteen years ago. Many remember the exhilarating, joyful and palpable spirit of solidarity on that night of shared music in a packed St. Paul’s, almost a generation ago. This year, the theme of the concert is We are the Village. Together we are the village that nurtures and supports all of our children in our community. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Village at Ithaca, a local, nonprofit group working to ensure educational equity and success for all students, particularly minority students and students whose families have limited resources.
